Up until not too long ago, the economy of Valdemorillo mainly centred on cereal crops and wine production, in particular, a sweet wine that was well known throughout the region.
The winery in Valdemorillo was an obligatory stop for any visitor to the town.
Today, you can still see the old vats and wine press that were used in the traditional production methods of the town's famous sweet wine.
The winery is still open today and, although it has recently been revamped, some of the old jars have been preserved, and of course, you can still come and try the sweet taste of our local wine.
